Ruja Guard
Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2, 2026
Ruja Guard is built around a simple boundary: text you review in the extension or local website demo is processed on your device, not sent to us for analysis.
Overview
Ruja Guard (the “Extension” and this “Website”) is operated by MB Evelaina, Lithuania. This policy explains what the product handles, what leaves your device, and the choices available to you.
Information the Extension Handles
The Extension handles the text you paste for review, local findings, protected text, placeholder mappings, and private-dictionary entries you choose to save. Your dictionary passphrase is used on your device to unlock or re-key its encrypted vault; we do not receive or store it.
Local Processing and Storage
- Reviewed text and findings remain in the active extension page and its local worker.
- Placeholder mappings remain in the current local session so you can restore an answer.
- Private-dictionary entries are encrypted before being stored in the regular browser profile. Incognito uses a separate, non-persistent dictionary.
- Preferences, such as onboarding completion, are stored locally in the browser.
What the Extension Does Not Transmit
The current Extension has no text-processing service, user account, telemetry, advertising SDK, analytics SDK, page-reading permission or general website access. It does not send reviewed text, findings, protected text, placeholder mappings, dictionary entries or passphrases to MB Evelaina, Ruja Guard or a third party.
Clipboard Access
The Extension requests clipboard-write access. It writes only after you choose Protect & copy or Copy sensitive result. It does not request clipboard-read access. Clipboard contents may be visible to the operating system and other software on your device.
Website and Local Demo
The Website does not use analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, cookies, accounts or contact forms. The interactive demo runs in the page and its security policy blocks network connections after the page has loaded. Text entered into the demo is not included in requests.
Like any website host, our hosting provider receives ordinary request metadata needed to deliver pages, such as IP address, browser information, requested path and time. We do not ask the Website to collect the text entered in the demo.
Support Email
If you email hello@ruja.app, we receive your email address, message and any information you choose to include. Email is routed by Cloudflare and delivered to a Google-hosted mailbox. We use it only to answer your request, investigate a problem or manage private-alpha access. Do not include real secrets or sensitive text in support messages.
Deletion and Retention
Use Clear and lock to remove the current text, findings, placeholder mappings and unlocked dictionary references from the Extension. Remove dictionary entries individually, or uninstall the Extension and remove its browser data to delete the local vault and preferences. We retain support correspondence only as long as reasonably needed to answer it, maintain a support record or meet legal obligations.
Security and Detection Limits
Ruja Guard reduces accidental disclosure but cannot identify every sensitive value or guarantee anonymity, confidentiality, legal compliance or a particular result. Review the findings and protected output before sharing it. Browser and JavaScript environments cannot guarantee physical memory erasure.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over personal data we hold through support correspondence, including access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection. Because Extension content stays on your device, we cannot retrieve or delete it for you. Contact us to exercise rights concerning information you sent by email.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as Ruja Guard changes. The current version will remain at this URL with a revised “Last updated” date. Material changes to data handling will be disclosed before they take effect where required.
