Ruja Guard is deliberately small: a local safe-paste checkpoint, not another AI platform or a promise of perfect anonymisation.
No. The extension reviews text in its own local worker. It has no account, telemetry, analytics or text-processing API.
Checks include emails, IBANs, payment cards, Swedish and Danish identifiers, Lithuanian personal codes, access tokens and source-code secrets. A private dictionary covers client names and internal codenames.
Yes. Ruja Guard prepares protected text in a separate Chrome side panel, so you can paste it into any AI tool you choose. It does not inject into or read provider pages.
