Ruja Guard
Terms of Service
Last updated: August 2, 2026
Agreement
By installing or using Ruja Guard (the “Extension”) or using this website and its local demo (together, the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
What Ruja Guard Does
Ruja Guard is a local review utility intended to reduce accidental disclosure when preparing text for AI tools and other services. It suggests possible personal data and company secrets, lets you choose replacements, creates temporary placeholders and can restore those placeholders during the current local session.
Your Review Is Required
Detection is imperfect. Ruja Guard may miss sensitive information, flag harmless text, select an incorrect span or create a placeholder that is unsuitable for your use. You are responsible for reviewing the original text, findings, protected output and restored output before copying, sharing or relying on it.
No Compliance or Professional Advice
The Service does not provide legal, security, privacy, employment, financial or other professional advice. It does not certify anonymity, GDPR compliance, confidentiality, data-loss prevention or permission to share information. Your organisation’s rules and applicable law still apply.
Acceptable Use
You may use the Service for lawful personal or business purposes. You agree not to use it to violate another person’s rights, evade duties that apply to you, distribute malware, interfere with the Service, or misrepresent protected output as guaranteed anonymous or compliant.
Your Content
You keep your rights in text and dictionary entries you use with Ruja Guard. You are responsible for having the right to use that content. The current Extension processes it locally and does not give MB Evelaina ownership of it.
Third-Party Services
Ruja Guard prepares text for tools you choose, but it is not affiliated with or responsible for AI providers, browsers, operating systems, email providers or other third-party services. Their terms and privacy practices apply when you use them.
Intellectual Property
Ruja Guard’s name, design, website, code and documentation are owned by MB Evelaina or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer those rights. Any licence distributed with software components continues to govern those components.
Availability and Changes
The private alpha may change, be interrupted or be withdrawn. We may add, remove or change functionality to improve safety, reliability or product fit. We will not deliberately weaken the stated local-processing boundary without updating the product disclosures and Privacy Policy.
Disclaimer of Warranties
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free detection, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, MB Evelaina is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of or inability to use the Service, including disclosure caused by missed findings or user-approved output. Mandatory consumer rights and liability that cannot legally be limited remain unaffected.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Lithuania, without limiting any mandatory protections available to consumers under the laws of their country of residence. Courts are determined by applicable law.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will be posted at this URL with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms where permitted by law.
